Bristeil
Bristeil are an indie rock music band from Minsk, Belarus. Their music is often referred to as "intelligent rock". The group was formed in 2013 in music, 2013 by lead vocalist and guitarist Aleh Vial. They released the debut Extended play, EP ''Cyruĺnia Svietu'' ("The Barbershop of the World") on 26 May 2014. At present, Vial mostly focuses on Songwriter, songwriting for his solo electronic music project Helaiv, launched in 2017, while guitarist Max Bykau in fall 2018 began to play in the acoustic pop duo Maks & Lera, while playing part-time in the cover band Miami. History Bristeil was formed out of Aleh Vial's former bandm Hair Peace Salon. Hair Peace Salon made the semi-finals in the 2007 Global Battle of the Bands contest and participated in many other music festivals. Over a ten-year period they produced indie pop songs in English. Cyruĺnia Svietu
''Cyruĺnia Svietu'' ("The Barbershop of the World" into English) is the first studio Extended play, EP by Belarusian intelligent rock band Bristeil released on May 26, 2014. The first track "Heta Mahčyma" was released as a single on December 2, 2013. All four tracks were written by Aleh Vial in the Belarusian language. Background and release At its third appearance at the annual "Acoustic of Spring" event on March 1, 2013, the band Hair Peace Salon showed some new stuff that would be released under Bristeil's band copyright on the ''Cyruĺnia Svietu'' EP later on: the new song in Belarusian "Nieba Abraz" and a cover of Lana Del Rey's "Video Games (Lana Del Rey song), Video Games". Hair Peace Salon
Hair Peace Salon is a power pop band from Minsk, Belarus, influenced by British rock music, British indie rock. Hair Peace Salon's music is distinguished by its use of English lyrics with emotional flow and drastic mood swings in songs. The group was founded in 1998, and they have released one full-length album Gentleman (music album), ''Gentleman'', and numerous Single (music), singles and Extended play, EPs. Jitters (Russian: ''«Джи́ттерс»'') was a rock band from Minsk, Belarus, which played mostly rock 'n' roll and post-grunge. The band was formed in 1998 and released the album ''Split Before, Together Now'' (with Hair Peace Salon), as well as several EPs. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Global Battle Of The Bands
The Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) is a live music competition joined by bands from all continents around the world. It is open to amateur/professional bands of all music genres and ages; there are only two main prerequisites to joining: no cover songs and no pre-recorded tracks. All bands must play original compositions and play it live. Every year Local Qualifying Heats and National Finals take place in participating countries around the world. The winners of these go forward to the World Finals. The grand winner of the World Finals will be awarded a USD $100,000.00 worth of cash and band development packages in London, as well as a golden statuette engraved with the words "Best New Band in the World".
