''Brij Bhoomi'' is a 1982 Indian film based on Braj culture. It was the first film in the Braj Bhasha language. It was directed and produced by Shiv Kumar, who also starred in the film, and the lyrics and music were by Ravindra Jain. Bharati Achrekar is an Indian Marathi and Hindi theatre, film and television actress. She has been a part of several films in Indian cinema and was celebrated as Mrs Wagle from the doordarshan show, ''Wagle ki Duniya''. She is currently starring as Radhika Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey. Career Bharati made her acting debut with a Hindi drama Apne Paraye, directed by Basu Chatterjee. Thomas Beach Alter (22 June 1950 – 29 September 2017) was an Indian actor. He was best known for his works in Hindi cinema, and Indian theatre. In 2008, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India. Alka Nupur is a former Indian actress who was best known for her contributions to Hindi cinema throughout the 1980s. She appeared in many films throughout her career, including ''Laawaris'' (1981), ''Brij Bhoomi'' (1982), '' John Jani Janardhan'' (1984), and ''Mohabbat Ke Dushman'' (1988).
