Bright Personality
''A Bright Personality'' or (russian: Светлая личность, Svetlaya lichnost) is a 1988 fantastic satirical comedy based on the works of Ilf and Petrov, directed by Alexander Pavlovsky at the Odessa film studio. The film consists of two parts: the "Dark Past" and "Bright Future". Plot In provincial Pischeslav (original name of the small town is Kukuyevo) there is a powerful and respectable organization named KLOOP. A job in KLOOP is a cherished dream of every inhabitant of Pischeslav, but for what purpose was this office created and what does it do in reality – is a mystery even to the KLOOP workers. In fact the KLOOP are a bunch of bureaucrats and penpushers who simply receive public money. In KLOOP works Egor Filyurin whose neighbor in his communal apartment is a local celebrity – inventor Babsky. Aleksandr Sergeyevich Demyanenko (russian: Алекса́ндр Серге́евич Демья́ненко; May 30, 1937 – August 22, 1999) was a Soviet and Russian actor. He was given the honorary distinction of People's Artist of the RSFSR. He began his acting career with the film '' The Wind'' in 1959, and is well known for playing the character Shurik in a number of films, beginning with the 1965 comedy '' Operation Y and Other Shurik's Adventures'', and ending with the 1997 film ''Old Songs of the Main Things 2''. Armen Borisovich Dzhigarkhanyan (russian: Армен Борисович Джигарханян; hy, Արմեն Բորիսի Ջիգարխանյան, Armen Borisi Jigarkhanyan; ; 3 October 1935 – 14 November 2020) was a Soviet, Armenian, and Russian actor. Vladimir Mikhailovich Tatosov (russian: Влади́мир Миха́йлович Тато́сов; 10 May 1926 – 24 December 2021) was a Russian stage, television, voice and film actor. He had an honorary title People's Artist of the RSFSR (1991). Biography Tatosov was born on 10 May 1926, in Moscow into an Armenian family. He spent his childhood in Baku. In 1946, he graduated from the drama school at the Sverdlovsk Drama Theater. In 1947, he was admitted to the troupe of the Saint Petersburg Comedy Theatre, after a while he moved to the Baltic House Festival Theatre, Lenin's Komsomol Theatre. In 1963 he became an artist of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater, Gorky Bolshoi Drama Theater. In 1971 he moved to the Lenfilm film studio.
