Brian O'Connor (actor)
Brian Edward O'Connor (born February 14, 1953), known professionally as Brian Brucker O'Connor or Brian O'Connor, is an American actor, comedian and guidance counselor. His best known roles include Biddle in ''Beverly Hills Cop II'' (1987) and Shining Time Station#Series regulars (1989–1995), Schemer on ''Shining Time Station'' (1989–1993). O’Connor briefly reprised his role as Schemer in a 2020 parody of Thomas and the Magic Railroad entitled “The Magic Railroad Parody” which aired exclusively on YouTube. Career O'Connor graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1975 to pursue a career in acting. Arriving in Boston, he co-founded the comedy troupe ''Slap Happy'', along with fellow UMass alum Allan Jacobs. Lynnfield is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, in the United States. At the 2020 census, the town population was 13,000. ''National Lampoon's Class of '86'' was a musical comedy stage show, performed at the Village Gate in New York City's Greenwich Village in 1986. It was a spin-off of ''National Lampoon'' magazine. A recording of the show was broadcast as part of ''Showtime Comedy Spotlight'' on cable television in the 1980s (first on December 6, 1986), and it was subsequently available on VHS videocassette. The show's length was about two hours. Production The show was a sketch-based satire of 1980s culture. In terms of plot, the sketches are held together by a frame story of two hippies named Galahad and Dewdrop, who had taken LSD in 1969, fallen into a deep sleep, and then woken up 17 years later in 1986. The film, a very loose adaptation of the short story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell, stars Ted Prior, David's brother, as a former soldier who is kidnapped for participation in a human safari. Stephen Holden (born July 18, 1941) is an American writer, poet, and music and film critic. Biography Holden earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Yale University in 1963. He worked as a photo editor, staff writer, and eventually became an A&R executive for RCA Records before turning to writing pop music reviews and related articles for ''Rolling Stone'' magazine, ''Blender'', ''The Village Voice'', ''The Atlantic'', and '' Vanity Fair'', among other publications. He first achieved prominence with his 1970s ''Rolling Stone'' work, where he tended to cover singer-songwriter and traditional pop artists.
