Brian Norton (engineer)
Brian Norton is a solar energy applications researcher and technologist. As president of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) from 2003 to 2018, he was an advocate for diversity of higher education in Ireland. He has also been associated with the relocation of DIT from a multiplicity of scattered buildings to a single city centre campus in the Grangegorman neighbourhood of Dublin and the creation of the Technological University Dublin, Ireland's first Technological University. In 2020 he became head of energy research at Tyndall National Institute, research professor at University College Cork as well as professor of solar energy applications at Technological University Dublin. Great Yarmouth
Great Yarmouth (), often called Yarmouth, is a seaside town and unparished area in, and the main administrative centre of, the Borough of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England; it straddles the River Yare and is located east of Norwich. The European Academies' Science Advisory Council (EASAC) is a regional association of National Academies of science. Its members are 25 National Science Academies of the Member States of the European Union (EU), and the National Science Academies of Norway, Switzerland and the UK. Wim Van Saarloos
Wim van Saarloos is a Dutch physicist, academic and researcher. He is a Professor of Theoretical Physics at Leiden University (emeritus since July 2021) Van Saarloos has written over 280 papers and has been cited over 12000 times. His research interests include Statistical Physics, non-equilibrium pattern formation and soft condensed matter physics. He has also done work on Front propagation into unstable states.
