Brian Noble (American Football)
Brian David Noble (born September 6, 1962) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted in the fifth round (125th overall) of the 1985 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers. He played college football at Arizona State. Early life and education Noble attended Anaheim High School where he played football and baseball, and football at Fullerton College before attending Arizona State University. At Fullerton College he played football for Head Coach Hal Sherbeck, who he credits for setting him straight, and helping him to understand what it would take to be successful in football and life. Green Bay Packers For the 1985 NFL Draft, Noble was selected in the fifth round (125th overall) by the Green Bay Packers. By Week 2, he was starting at right inside linebacker and had an outstanding first season, recording 104 tackles with three sacks. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). 1993 Philadelphia Eagles Season
The 1993 Philadelphia Eagles season was their 61st in the National Football League (NFL). The team failed to improve upon their previous output of 11–5, winning only eight games and failed to qualify for the playoffs for only the second time in six seasons. Ten of their sixteen games were decided by a touchdown or less. The team was without future hall of fame defensive end Reggie White, who had signed via free agency with the Green Bay Packers. Coronado High School is a public high school in Henderson, Nevada, part of Clark County School District. History The school was named after Francisco Vásquez de Coronado, a Spanish conquistador.
