Brian McLean
Brian Stuart McLean (born 28 February 1985) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Clyde. He began his career in Scotland as a youth and reserve player with Rangers before joining Motherwell in 2005, initially on loan. He then joined Falkirk in 2009 before joining Preston North End in England two years later. After returning to Scotland with Dundee United and then Ross County, he moved to DPMM FC in 2015 and won the S.League title in his first season. He then had a short spell at Hibernian and played in Iceland for ÍBV before returning for a second spell at DPMM FC in 2018. He returned to Scottish football at Dumbarton, where he spent the 2018-19 season, then signed for Greenock Morton in July 2019. McLean played for the Scotland under-17 team before choosing to represent Northern Ireland, for whom he made one full international appearance in 2006. Brian "Aussie" McLean is a professional rugby union coach, and the current defence coach of the All Blacks. Coaching career McLean has had more than 20 years coaching experience from club to international level, most recently as Assistant Coach of Samoa at the 2011 Rugby World Cup. He led the New Zealand Under 19 team to five world championships, including three victories, won titles with Canterbury in 2001 and 2004, provided analysis and coaching for the Crusaders (1999–2000) and was Assistant Coach with the Hurricanes (2006–2008). He was also technical advisor before becoming Assistant Coach of Manu Samoa (2009-2011) He was appointed as the All Blacks defence coach in 2011, following the appointment of Steve Hansen as head coach. Brian F McLean (born January 19, 1977) is an American special effects person. He was born in Syracuse, New York. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture in 1999 from Boston University. He is the director of rapid prototype at LAIKA. Known for his works on acclaimed stop motion films such as ''Coraline'' (2009), ''ParaNorman'' (2012), ''The Boxtrolls'' (2014) and ''Kubo and the Two Strings'' for which he received an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects nomination at the 89th Academy Awards, that he shared with Steve Emerson, Oliver Jones, and Brad Schiff. In 2016, he was awarded a Scientific and Engineering Award – an Academy plaque; at the Academy Scientific and Technical Awards from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science that he shared with Martin Meunier for pioneering the use of rapid prototyping and 3D printing in character animation-stop motion film productions.
