Brian McGuigan
Brian McGuigan is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Ardboe O'Donnovan Rossa club and the Tyrone county team. He won an All Star Award and three All-Ireland medals in 2003 (when he won his All Star), 2005 and 2008. Early life and family McGuigan father Frank also played for Tyrone, but the younger McGuigan's achievements surpassed those of his father. Playing career At underage level, McGuigan was part of the team that captured All-Ireland gold in 1998 in the Minor championship, and back-to-back triumphs in the Under 21 championships in 2000 and 2001. McGuigan's influence on the team may be illustrated by Tyrone's mammoth run to the 2005 All-Ireland triumph. Ardboe O'Donnovan Rossa GAC
Ardboe O'Donovan Rossa GAC ( ga, CLG Ard Bó Uí Dhonnabhain Rosa) is a club based in east County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, close to the shores of Lough Neagh. The club was formed in 1947 but Gaelic games had existed under different banners from the early 20th century. The club has won a total of seven Tyrone Senior Football Championships, the last in 1998 when they defeated Omagh. Michael Coney Park Michael Coney Park is the home ground of Ardboe O'Donovan Rossa GAC, situated on the Kilmascally road near to the main parish centre. In the 1970s the club constructed the main pavilion building and the surrounding facilities. In the following years new fencing was erected and a new covered stand and terracing to further improve the club's grounds. In recent years the club purchased a new training field near the current playing field. Peter Canavan
Peter Canavan (born 9 April 1971) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer, manager and pundit. He played inter-county football for Tyrone, and is one of the most decorated players in the game's history, winning two All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals, six All Stars Awards (more than any other Ulster player, and joint third overall), four provincial titles, and two National Leagues and several under-age and club championship medals. He represented Ireland in the International Rules Series on several occasions from 1998 until 2000.
