Southeastern Louisiana University (Southeastern) is a public university in Hammond, Louisiana. It was founded in 1925 by Linus A. Sims as Hammond Junior College. The points of the compass are a set of horizontal, radially arrayed compass directions (or azimuths) used in navigation and cartography.
