Brian Eklund
Brian M. Eklund (born May 24, 1980) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in one National Hockey League (NHL) game with the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2005–06 season. He currently runs his own goalie school, Massachusetts Crease Goaltending School, as well as being an assistant and goalie coach for the Brown Bears men's ice hockey team. Playing career As a youth, Eklund played in the 1994 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Hobomock in Pembroke, Massachusetts. After four seasons at Brown University, Eklund signed a two-year rookie contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was then assigned by the Lightning to the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL. Springfield Falcons
The Springfield Falcons were a former ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) and played in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the MassMutual Center. In 2016, the Falcons' franchise was purchased by the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Arizona Coyotes and relocated to Tucson, Arizona, before the start of the 2016–17 AHL season. Providence Bruins
The Providence Bruins are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL), and are the primary development team for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). They play at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. Johnstown Chiefs
The Johnstown Chiefs were a minor league ice hockey team located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, that played in the ECHL. The team was founded in 1987 in the All-American Hockey League, and moved to the East Coast Hockey League (now "ECHL") when that league was formed. The Chiefs lasted for 22 years in Johnstown, and was the last of the founding ECHL teams playing under its original name and in its original city. The Chiefs relocated to Greenville, South Carolina, following the completion of the 2010 season. Franchise history The owners originally wanted to name the team the Jets in honor of a team that had played in Johnstown from 1950 to 1977, mostly in the Eastern Hockey League. Gerald Coleman
Gerald Coleman (born April 3, 1985) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He predominantly played in the minor leagues, most notably with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. Playing career Coleman was drafted 224th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Selected from the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, Coleman was awarded the Dave Pinkney Trophy on his way to capturing the Memorial Cup the following season in 2003–04. He is the first graduate of the NHL Diversity Program to be drafted and to play in the NHL, making his debut for the Lightning, in relief, on November 11, 2005. Jonathan Boutin
Jonathan Boutin (born March 28, 1985) is a Canadian-German professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing for German DEL2 club, EC Bad Nauheim. He was originally drafted in the third round, 96th overall, by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Boutin was born in Granby, Quebec, and was granted German citizenship in May 2016. Playing career QMJHL Between 2001-2005 Boutin played for Halifax Mooseheads, PEI Rocket, and Quebec Ramparts, all of the QMJHL. In 130 regular season games, Boutin went 58-43-7 with a 3.03 GAA. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL).
