Brian Edward Baker (born July 16, 1967) is an American actor best known for his recurring role as a trenchcoated spokesman in Sprint Corporation, Sprint's Television advertisement, television commercials. Biography Early career Baker began his acting career at the age of 11 as a member of a now-defunct community film enthusiast club known as ''Cinekyd'', based in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where youngsters acted in, directed, edited, and produced amateur movies under adult supervision. In Chicago, Illinois, following college, he studied at The Second City improvisational comedy troupe, while also working as a Stand-up comedy, stand-up comedian and in the Seanachai Theatre Company. Brian Baker is an American football coach, former Linebacker, and former defensive line coach for the Indianapolis Colts. He had been coaching for over 30 years in football both college and the NFL prior to his joining the Colts. Playing career A Baltimore native, Brian played outside linebacker for the Maryland Terrapins between 1980 and their ACC championship in 1983. During his time there, he was teammates with Boomer Esiason and Frank Reich. In 1984, he spent his time working as a student assistant for the Terps. Brian Baker (musician)
Brian Baker (born February 25, 1965) is an American punk rock musician. He is best known as one of the founding members of the hardcore punk band Minor Threat, and as a guitarist in Bad Religion since 1994. In Minor Threat, he originally played bass guitar before switching to guitar in 1982 when Steve Hansgen joined the band, and then moved back to bass after Hansgen's departure. He also founded Dag Nasty in 1985, was part of the original line-up of Samhain, and has had stints in Doggy Style, The Meatmen (with fellow Minor Threat member Lyle Preslar), Government Issue, and Junkyard (a hard rock band). In 1994 Baker was offered a spot as a touring musician with R.E.M. but declined, opting instead to accept a position in Bad Religion as Brett Gurewitz's replacement. Brian Richard Baker (born April 30, 1985) is an American retired professional tennis player from Nashville, Tennessee. Junior career As a junior player, Baker won the 2002 Orange Bowl. In 2003, he reached the boys' singles final of the French Open after beating Marcos Baghdatis in the quarterfinals and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals. In the final, he lost to Stan Wawrinka. Brian Baker (August 9, 1973 – June 24, 2021) was an American politician. Biography A Republican, he represented part of Cass County (District 123) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002. He served from 2002 to 2008. He later served as the Northern Commissioner for Cass County from 2008 until 2016. Brian Baker (born 8 June 1970) is a retired American long-distance runner and current coach at Gardner-Webb University. Early career Baker was born and raised in Batesville, Arkansas, and competed in his prep career at Batesville High School. He holds the state high school record in the 3200 meter run with 9:09.80 minutes. He was also a two-time state champion in the 1600 and 3200 meter run events. Baker ran collegiately at the University of Arkansas, winning team national titles in 1990 (indoor track and cross country), 1991 (indoor), 1992 (cross country, indoor and outdoor) and 1993 (cross country, indoor and outdoor). He won the NCAA Outdoor 5000-meter run in 1994 and ran a leg on the winning indoor distance medley relay team the same year. Air Marshal Sir Brian Edmund Baker (31 August 1896 – 8 October 1979), was an officer of the Royal Air Force who served in both World Wars. He was a flying ace in World War I credited, in conjunction with his gunners, with twelve victories, comprising one enemy aircraft captured, four destroyed (including one shared), and seven "out of control" (including one shared). The Makers (Australian Band)
The Makers were an Australian band formed by ex-Split Enz keyboardist, Eddie Rayner, and musician and singer, Brian Baker. The duo formed in 1988 after recording the tracks for a feature film, ''Rikky and Pete''. The self-titled debut album ''The Makers'' released in 1990, provided three singles.
