Brian Armstrong is a former New Zealand association football player who represented New Zealand. Armstrong made his full All Whites debut in a 5–1 win over Fiji on 17 February 1973 and he ended his international playing career with 9 A-international caps to his credit, his final cap being a substitute appearance in a 1–1 draw with Australia on 4 March 1975. Bridgette Armstrong
Bridgette Kate Armstrong (born 9 November 1992), is a member of the Football Ferns, the New Zealand women's national football team. She was a member of the New Zealand squad in the inaugural FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, playing all three group games; a 0–1 loss to Canada, a 1–2 loss to Denmark, and a 3–1 win over Colombia. Armstrong also represented New Zealand at the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile, again playing all three group games; a 2–3 loss to Nigeria, a 4–3 win over hosts Chile, and scored New Zealand's goal against England before England equalised late in injury time to eliminate New Zealand from the tournament. 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup
The 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is the first women's football U-17 World Cup in FIFA history. It was held in New Zealand from 28 October to 16 November 2008. It is the officially recognized world championship for women's under-17 national football teams. This was the first women's world youth championship organized by FIFA with the age limit of 17. Ronald W Armstrong is a former New Zealand association football player who represented New Zealand. Armstrong made his full All Whites debut in a 2-4 loss to New Caledonia on 18 July 1971 and he ended his international playing career with 25 A-international caps to his credit, his final cap being in a 1-0 win over Taiwan on 1 October 1983. Armstrong is one of only two players to have appeared in eight Chatham Cup finals. Armstrong's family is well represented in international football. University-Mount Wellington is an association football club in Auckland, New Zealand. It was formed from the amalgamation of University AFC and Mount Wellington AFC. The team play at Bill McKinlay Park, Panmure, Auckland. Club history During much of the 1970s and 1980s, Mt Wellington AFC was a strong club side, rivalled only by Christchurch United.
