Breznik Heights
Breznik Heights (Breznishki Vazvisheniya \'brez-nish-ki v&-zvi-'she-ni-ya\) rises to over 600 m in the southeast part of Greenwich Island in Antarctica. They extend 12 km between Santa Cruz Point in the northeast and the base of the moraine spit of Provadiya Hook at the mouth of Yankee Harbour in the southwest. The heights are ice-covered except for limited precipitous areas such as those at Oborishte Ridge, Ephraim Bluff, Viskyar Ridge and Bogdan Ridge. Viskyar Ridge
Viskyar Ridge (''’rid vis-’kyar'') is a rocky ridge rising to 600 m and extending 2.5 km in north-south direction in Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. Antarctic Place-names Commission
The Antarctic Place-names Commission was established by the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute in 1994, and since 2001 has been a body affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. Poisson Hill is a rounded ice-free hill rising to 80 m at the north extremity of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica and surmounting the Chilean Antarctic base Arturo Prat to the west-southwest. ''Angamos Hill'' (55 m) is lying 370 m north-northeast of it and 850 m south-southeast of Ash Point. Breznik ( bg, Брезник ) is a town in western Bulgaria, 50 km away from Sofia. It is located in Pernik Province and is close to the towns of Bankya and Pernik. Bogdan Ridge (Rid Bogdan \'rid 'bog-dan\) is a conspicuous rocky ridge of elevation 440 m forming the northeast extremity of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The ridge extends 1.3 km westwards from Santa Cruz Point and surmounts Gruev Cove to the south. The feature is named after Bogdan Peak, the summit of Sredna Gora Mountain in Central Bulgaria. Ephraim Bluff
Ephraim Bluff is a 425 m ice-free bluff in the south of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The bluff is linked to Razgrad Peak to the north-northeast and separates the termini of Wulfila Glacier to the northwest and Zheravna Glacier to the east. It surmounts Doris Cove on the northwest. The feature was charted and named 'Mount Ephraim' as early as 1820-22 by American sealers who used it as a lead mark for the nearby Yankee Harbour.
