Brett Yorgey
Brett Yorgey (born 13 October 1960) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Yorgey played his early football at Perth in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL). His first stint in the VFL, at South Melbourne, didn't result in a senior game but joined Collingwood in 1987 and made his senior debut, against Geelong at Waverley Park mid-season. On debut, Yorgey had 19 disposals, and kicked two goals and two behinds. He appeared in all of Collingwood's remaining games for the year, except their last. The North Albury Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Hoppers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club playing in the Ovens & Murray Football League (O&MFL). They are incorporated as part of the North Albury Sports Club licensed club at Bunton Park in North Albury, Albury, where they play their home matches. The club has won six O&MFL premierships. The Hoppers currently play in forest green guernseys with a gold vee and the "Hopper" logo on the right side. Previous guernsey designs included a dark green and gold design similar to the West Coast Eagles' classic wingtip design (up to 2008) and a gold design with two dark green vees over the yoke. Doug Searl
Doug Searl (born 22 March 1947) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Searl started his career with Collingwood in 1966 and played mostly as a centre half-forward. He spent two and a bit seasons at Collingwood, including playing in the 1966 VFL Grand Final, which Collingwood lost to St Kilda by one point. During the 1968 VFL season Searl crossed to Fitzroy and had an immediate impact as a forward, kicking 31 goals in his eight games that year. In 1969, Searl topped Fitzroy's goalkicking with 68 goals which was the fourth most in the VFL that season and the best tally by a Fitzroy player in over three decades. He spent the rest of his career as a centre half back, playing his last game in 1976. Searl continued to be involved in football as a coach and steered the Fitzroy under-19 team to the 1982 premiership. Waverley Park
Waverley Park (also and originally called VFL Park) was an Australian rules football stadium in Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia. For most of its history, its purpose was as a neutral venue and used by all Victorian-based Victorian Football League/Australian Football League clubs. However, during the 1990s it became the home ground of both the Hawthorn and St Kilda football clubs. It ceased to be used for AFL games from the 2000 season following the opening of Docklands Stadium. It is currently used as a training venue by Hawthorn.
