Brett Seymour
Brett Seymour (born 27 September 1984) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Dewsbury Rams. His usual position was in the halves. Seymour previously played in the National Rugby League for the Brisbane Broncos, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and New Zealand Warriors before moving to England where he joined Super League club, Hull FC. Seymour was the captain coach of Toowoomba Valleys in the Toowoomba Rugby League completion. Background Seymour was born in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. Early career On contract with the Brisbane Broncos from a young age, Seymour was a standout school boy performer, leading the St Patrick's Mackay schoolboy side to victory in the Confraternity Cup. Mackay, Queensland
} Mackay () is a city in the Mackay Region on the eastern or Coral Sea coast of Queensland, Australia. It is located about north of Brisbane, on the Pioneer River. Mackay is described as being in either Central Queensland or North Queensland, as these regions are not precisely defined. More generally, the area is known as the Mackay–Whitsunday Region. Mackay is nicknamed the sugar capital of Australia because its region produces more than a third of Australia's sugar. Name The city was named after John Mackay. In 1860, he was the leader of an expedition into the Pioneer Valley. Initially Mackay proposed to name the river Mackay River after his father George Mackay. Thomas Henry Fitzgerald surveyed the township and proposed it was called Alexandra after Princess Alexandra of Denmark, who married Prince Edward (later King Edward VII). Regatta Hotel
Regatta Hotel is a heritage-listed hotel at 543 Coronation Drive on the corner of Sylvan Road, Toowong, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It faces the Toowong Reach of the Brisbane River and was named after the rowing regattas held there. It was designed by Richard Gailey and built in 1886 by George Gazzard. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. History The first hotel was established on the site in 1874, as a single-storey wooden building. In 1886, the current and second Regatta Hotel, three-storeyed brick building, was erected for Brisbane publican William Winterford. The first building was removed to make way for the new premises. The new Regatta was designed by Brisbane architect Richard Gailey, who called tenders in February 1886. It was constructed by contractor George Gazzard, at a cost of £4,800. James Coyle (rugby League)
James Coyle (born 28 December 1985) is an Ireland international rugby league coach and former player. Playing career Coyle played for Wigan St Patricks as half back and St John Fisher pupil. In 2002 and 2003 he played in the Wigan's Academy setup and was the Senior Academy Player of the Year for 2003 Under 21s. Coyle captained the 2003 England Academy U17s squad that beat the Australian Institute of Sport for the first time. Coyle was also selected for the 2004 Academy Origin Series. He was included in the Wigan Warriors first team squad for the first time in 2005 his first appearance being off the bench against Hull F.C. Coyle made his full début the next weekend against Whitehaven in the Challenge Cup, and had a man-of-the-match winning performance. Coach Denis Betts commented of his performance: "James is a really good player, as he showed when he started to carry the ball and create space in the second half.
