Brett Levis (born March 29, 1993) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for FC Tulsa in the USL Championship. Club career Early career Levis spent his entire college career at the University of Saskatchewan. He made a total of 50 appearances for the Huskies and tallied 29 goals and 16 assists. He also played in the Premier Development League for Victoria Highlanders and Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-23. Whitecaps FC 2 On February 24, 2015, Levis signed a professional contract with USL expansion side Whitecaps FC 2. He made his professional debut on March 29 in a 4–0 defeat to Seattle Sounders FC 2. The University of Saskatchewan began in 1907 and has operated teams that compete with others since 1911. The term Huskie Athletics is defined as those student athletes from the University of Saskatchewan that compete in elite interuniversity competition administered by U Sports and its members, both as regions and as individual institutions. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. The Austin Aztex were on hiatus for the 2016 season, due to stadium availability issues, but planned to return in 2017 pending construction of a new, soccer-specific stadium. The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 15th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the biennial international men's soccer championship of the North, Central American, and Caribbean region organized by CONCACAF. The tournament was primarily hosted in the United States, with Costa Rica and Jamaica hosting double-headers in the first round of matches in groups B and C, respectively. The United States were the defending champions, having won the 2017 tournament. With the abolition of the FIFA Confederations Cup, the CONCACAF Cup was annulled and the Gold Cup did not qualify the winner to a major tournament for the first time since 2009. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; french: Première ligue canadienne, links=no) is a professional men's Association football, soccer league in Canada. At the top of the Canadian soccer league system, it is the country's primary national soccer league competition. Jordan Harvey (born January 28, 1984) is an American former professional soccer player who last played for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC. Career Youth and college Harvey started playing club soccer with Strikers FC. Giles Gordon Kirlue Barnes (born 5 August 1988) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward.
