''Brett Eldredge'' is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Brett Eldredge, of the same name. It was released on August 4, 2017 by Atlantic Records. Content The lead single is "Somethin' I'm Good At". The album's second single, "The Long Way (Brett Eldredge song), The Long Way", released to country radio on August 21, 2017. "Love Someone (Brett Eldredge song), Love Someone" was released June 18, 2018 as the third single. Brett Ryan Eldredge (born March 23, 1986) is an American country music singer, songwriter and record producer, signed to Warner Music Group Nashville. Eldredge has had five No. 1 singles on the ''Billboard'' Country Airplay chart, three of which came from his debut studio album, ''Bring You Back'': " Don't Ya", " Beat of the Music", and " Mean to Me". Early life Eldredge was born on March 23, 1986, in Paris, Illinois, the son of Robin Beth (née Vonderlage) and Christopher "Chris" Eldredge. He has an older brother, Brice. He studied at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. His cousin, Terry Eldredge, is a former member of the Grascals. Derek M. Wells, KC, (born 28 November 1946) is a Canadian former politician who served a Liberal Member of Parliament for the riding of South Shore from 1993 to 1997. Early life and education Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1972. Political career Wells won the South Shore electoral district for the Liberal party in the 1993 federal election. After serving in the 35th Canadian Parliament, Wells was defeated in the 1997 federal election. He unsuccessfully attempted to return to Parliament in the 2000 federal election. He also served as President of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party, supporting the provincial form of the party, and is a partner at Hennigar, Wells, Lamey and Baker in Chester. The Wallflowers is an American rock solo project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jakob Dylan. The Wallflowers were originally a roots rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1989 by Dylan and guitarist Tobi Miller. The pedal steel guitar is a Console steel guitar, console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Like all steel guitars, it can play unlimited glissando, glissandi (sliding notes) and deep vibrato, vibrati—characteristics it shares with the human voice. Pedal steel is most commonly associated with American country music and Music of Hawaii, Hawaiian music. The lap steel guitar, also known as a Hawaiian guitar, is a type of steel guitar without pedals that is typically played with the instrument in a horizontal position across the performer's lap. Unlike the usual manner of playing a traditional acoustic guitar, in which the performer's fingertips press the strings against frets, the pitch of a steel guitar is changed by pressing a polished steel bar against plucked strings (from which the name "steel guitar" derives). Though the instrument does not have frets, it displays markers that resemble them. Dan Dugmore is an American session musician known primarily for playing the pedal steel guitar Born in 1949, Dugmore was raised in Pasadena, California. Influenced by the Flying Burrito Brothers, he learned to play steel guitar after Flying Burrito Brothers member Sneaky Pete Kleinow sold him one. Dugmore then joined John Stewart's road band, and then Linda Ronstadt's; he also played for several James Taylor albums. In the 1990s, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he began playing steel guitar on country music albums. He self-released a Beatles cover album in 2003 titled ''Off White Album''. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist). It uses one or more pickups to convert the vibration of its strings into electrical signals, which ultimately are reproduced as sound by loudspeakers.
