Brett Blewitt
Brett Blewitt, (born 17 November 1975) is an Australian actor who played Brett Stark on the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'' from 1993 to 1996. Brett briefly returned to the show in 2005, when his character made a cameo appearance. Prior to appearing in ''Neighbours'', Brett starred in the Gary Reilly created Australian Sitcom My Two Wives alongside Kym Valentine who would be his co-star several years later on Neighbours. Since leaving Neighbours, Brett has worked as a guest on television shows and starred alongside the Olsen twins in Our Lips Are Sealed. Brett has been writing for production companies and is in collaboration writing with former co-star Jesse Spencer in Los Angeles. More recently Brett has started an enterprise showing off his home city of Sydney. Great Race is a fun Sydney day tour. Brett Stark is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Brett Blewitt. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 30 November 1993, along with his sister, Danni Stark and remained as a regular in the show until 8 March 1996. Blewitt returned as Brett for five weeks after the death of his on-screen mother, Cheryl. He departed along with Danni on 13 November 1996 and made a further cameo appearance in 2005 during Annalise Hartman's documentary about Ramsay Street, as part of ''Neighbours'' twenty-fifth anniversary. During his period in the serial he was portrayed as a "geek", a word that defined the character throughout his casting, storylines and perception among other characters. ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera, which has aired since 18 March 1985. It was created by television executive Reg Watson. The Seven Network commissioned the show following the success of Watson's earlier soap '' Sons and Daughters.'' Although successful in Melbourne, ''Neighbours'' underperformed in the Sydney market and was cancelled by Seven four months after it began airing. Gary Reilly (born New Zealand, 1945) is an Australian radio and television producer and writer. He is known for his work on a variety of comedy series such as ''The Naked Vicar Show'', ''Kingswood Country'', '' Hey Dad..!'' and '' Bullpitt!''. He won several Australian Writers Guild awards and Logies, as well as being inducted into the Australian Writers' Hall Of Fame. Kym Valentine (born 24 May 1977) is an Australian actress best known for her long running intermittent portrayal of Libby Kennedy in the soap opera ''Neighbours.'' Early life Valentine was born in Blacktown, Sydney, and grew up in Granville. She began dance classes when she was two and attended her first dance school aged six. "Our Lips Are Sealed" is a song co-written by Jane Wiedlin, guitarist of the Go-Go's, and Terry Hall, singer of the Specials and Fun Boy Three. It was first recorded by the Go-Go's as the opening track on their album '' Beauty and the Beat'' (1981) and was their debut American single in June 1981. The single eventually reached the top 5 in Australia and Canada, and the top 20 in the United States.
