PFC Brestnik 1948 (Брестник 1948) is a Bulgarian football club from the small neighborhood of Brestnik, located in the Greater Plovdiv area. The club will play its home matches at the Berkut Stadium, which is undergoing construction. The team currently plays in the B PFG - the second division of Bulgarian football. Dimitar Telkiyski ( bg, Димитър Телкийски; born 5 May 1977) is a Bulgarian football manager and a former player. His nickname is ''Mecho'' ( bg, Мечо) or 'Teddybear', was given to him by the Botev Plovdiv supporters. Career Botev Plovdiv Telkiyski developed his abilities in Botev Plovdiv's Youth Academy between 1990 and 1996. After that, he played three years for the seniors. The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups ( bg, Областни Аматьорски Футболни Групи, Oblastin Amat'orski Futbolni Grupi) are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), Third League. Competition format A RFG (or A OFG) has 28 regional geographically specified divisions, as some of the regions have more than one group. 28 teams are promoted to Third League at the end of every season. there are 9 B RFG (or B OFG) divisions registered for season 2015-16. Bulgarian B Football Group
The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. Career Georgiev started his career at his home town Blagoevgrad in local team Pirin. After that he played for CSKA Sofia, Cherno More Varna, Makedonska slava and Marek Dupnitsa. Georgi Alexandrov Ivanov, nicknamed Gonzo ( bg, Георги Александров Иванов – Гонзо), born 2 July 1976 in Plovdiv), is a former Bulgarian football striker and currently manager. Ivanov is a former Bulgarian international and is perhaps best known for his goal-scoring prowess in The Eternal Derby of Bulgaria, netting 15 goals, having bettered Nasko Sirakov's record in 2008. Ayan Faikov Sadakov ( bg, Аян Фаиков Садъков) (26 September 1961 – 1 July 2017) was a Bulgarian footballer and a key member of the Bulgarian national team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Club career Sadakov began his club career at the local Lokomotiv Plovdiv. For "The Smurfs" he played eleven seasons, before transferring to Portugal's C.F. Os Belenenses in 1989. Two years later he return in Lokomotiv and played two years, before signed with Botev Plovdiv in summer 1994. International Sadakov made 80 appearances for Bulgaria, between 1981 and 1991 and scored 9 goals. He played in four matches for his country at 1986 FIFA World Cup. Coaching career Sadakov had been appointed on September 29, 2008 as a manager of Lokomotiv Plovdiv a second time to replace Dragan Kanatlarovski.
