Brentwood Glen is a neighborhood in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, California. Location The community is situated between the West Los Angeles Veterans Center and Sepulveda Boulevard, south of Sunset Boulevard. History In the early 1920s four Ratteree Brothers-Judge Earnest Ratteree, Dr. Ira Ratteree, James Ratteree and Allan Ratteree-bought a walnut grove now known as Brentwood Glen. They came from the south, spending most of their time in Arkansas and South Carolina before arriving in Los Angeles. The Ratterees divided their land into five parcels, referred to as the Ratteree Tract, and filed for subdivision in the mid-1920s. They named all the streets as they stand today, but they did not market the property until after the onset of the Great Depression. The streets and sidewalks were poured in 1927. Brentwood is a neighborhood in central Austin, Texas. Brentwood comprises United States Census tracts 15.05 and 2.05, and ZIP Codes 78756 and 78757. The area is bordered by Burnet Road and Allandale to the west, North Lamar Boulevard and North Loop on the east, 45th Street and Rosedale to the south, and Justin Lane and Crestview to the north. Running through the middle of the area is a tree-lined street named Arroyo Seco, which follows a creek of the same name. Brentwood is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. At the 2020 census, its population was 4,490. Brentwood has been the county seat of Rockingham County since 1997. History An Abenaki tribe called the Pennacook farmed, fished and hunted in what is now Brentwood. Two main foot trails ran through the town, one along the Exeter River, where arrowheads and other stone and wooden artifacts have been found.
