Brent Daniels
Brent Daniels (born 9 March 1999) is a professional Australian rules football, Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He made his debut in round 16 of the 2018 AFL season, 2018 season against the West Coast Eagles at Perth Stadium. Daniels grew up in Swan Hill and played junior football for Nyah-Nyah West United Football Club, Nyah-Nyah West United. He Boarding school, boarded at Geelong Grammar School with fellow footballers and friends Paddy Dow, Lochie O'Brien and Jarrod Brander. Daniels played cricket and football for the school teams. He also played football for the Bendigo Pioneers in the TAC Cup and for Vic Country in the AFL Under 18 Championships. Daniels missed the second half of the 2016 season with a knee injury. Bendigo Pioneers
The Bendigo Pioneers is an Australian rules football team in the statewide Victorian under-18s league, the NAB League. Synopsis The Bendigo Pioneers is an Australian rules football team playing in NAB League since 1993 based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The idea behind the Bendigo Pioneers is to train its players and condition them for professional football. The team is divided into under-15s, under-16s, and under-18s. The Pioneers train at Epsom/Huntly Oval, Epsom, Victoria, Epsom. Their jersey colors are blue, white and yellow with blue, white and yellow socks and blue (home) or white (away) shorts. Lochie O'Brien
Lochie O'Brien (born 18 September 1999) is a former professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life and junior career Lochie grew up in rural Victoria and played junior football for the South Mildura Football Club. Growing up a Collingwood fan, his grandfather Denis managed to play a single senior game for the Magpies in 1971. Lochie had a promising athletics career growing up, breaking regional records in the 400 and 1500m categories and eventually breaking the state's school record with a time of 51.06 seconds. His impressive sporting background gave him the opportunity to attend Geelong Grammar School. It was not long before he was picked up by the Bendigo Pioneers of the TAC Cup. Brisbane Lions
The Brisbane Lions is a professional Australian rules football club based in Brisbane, Queensland, that plays in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was formed in late 1996 via a merger of the Melbourne-based 1883 foundation VFL club the Fitzroy Lions, and the 1987 Queensland based expansion club the Brisbane Bears, with the colours of maroon, blue, and gold being drawn from both parent clubs. AFL Draft Combine
The AFL Draft Combine, formerly known as the AFL Draft Camp, is a gathering of prospective talent, where selected potential draftees display their athletic prowess and relevant Australian rules football skills. Over four days participants are required to undergo a series of medical, psychomotor, athletic and fitness tests as well as interviews conducted by the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League. The first AFL Draft Camp was held in 1994 at Waverley Park; in 1999 it moved to Canberra, where it was hosted by the Australian Institute of Sport, and in 2011 it was moved to Docklands Stadium.
