Brenden Thenhaus
Brenden Thenhaus (born August 5, 1986) is a Canadian lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League. Professional career Thenhaus began his National Lacrosse League career with the Buffalo Bandits in the 2007 NLL season. He was acquired by the Wings as a free agent prior to the 2008 NLL season. Thenhaus scored his first career goal while with the Bandits against the Wings. On February 28, 2008, Thenhaus was traded to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for a second round pick in the 2008 National Lacrosse League entry draft. Thenhaus joined the Boston Blazers for their inaugural season during the 2009 NLL season. After two seasons in Boston, Thenhaus was acquired by the Buffalo Bandits in the Blazers' dispersal draft. He played one year in Buffalo before being signed to a contract by the Toronto Rock. Major Series Lacrosse
Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) is a Senior A box lacrosse league based in Ontario, Canada sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Most of the star players in the league play or have played in the National Lacrosse League. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Western Lacrosse Association champion for the Mann Cup every September. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year. OLA Junior B Lacrosse League
The Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League (OJBLL) is a box lacrosse league sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association in Canada. The league features twenty-five teams in Ontario, one in Quebec, and one in the Akwesasne (which straddles the two aforementioned provinces and New York) that annually play a 20-game schedule and four rounds of playoffs for the J. A. MacDonald Trophy. After the conclusion of the playoffs, a league champion represents the OJBLL at the Founders Cup National Junior B Championship. The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada. It is under the supervision of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL). The league was listed as the 7th best developmental league in North America for professional and amateur ice hockey in July 2013 by the website, "TheHockeyWriters.com". The league dates back to 1954 where it began as the "Central Junior B Hockey League". In 1993, the Central Junior B Hockey League was promoted to the Junior A level and renamed the "Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League". The Burlington Cougars are a Canadian junior "A" ice hockey team from Burlington, Ontario. They are a part of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. History Founded in the early 1950s, the Burlington Mohawks found their footing in the Central Junior B Hockey League. After seven seasons in the league and two league championships, the team was transferred to the Niagara District Junior B Hockey League. In the Niagara League, the briefly renamed Industrials won both the 1963 and 1964 league championships before dropping down to Junior C in the late 1960s. In 1970, the Mohawks jumped back up to the Junior B level in the Mid-Ontario Junior B Hockey League. The Brampton Excelsiors are Senior "A" box lacrosse team from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The Excelsiors play in the Major Series Lacrosse Senior "A" Lacrosse League.
