Breckenridge is a village in Gratiot County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,328 at the 2010 census. The village is located in Wheeler Township. History Breckenridge was founded in 1872 when the Pere Marquette Railroad came through the area. It was incorporated as a village in 1908.
