Brayton Laster
Brayton Laster (born August 28, 2002), nicknamed The Pizza Man, is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 91 Toyota Camry for TC Motorsports. Racing career Early racing career Laster would start racing go-karts at the age of eight at the Indianapolis Speedrome. Four years later, he would move on to racing Ford Thunderbirds and other various types of stock cars. According to Laster's dad, Dane, he would describe Brayton's equipment as a Frankenstein-esque vehicle, saying that "There’s times where I look back and I feel bad about some of the stuff I put him in over the years. But he’s had to drive his heart out, he’s had to learn to work on it to get speed out of it." Daytona International Speedway
Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. ARCA Menards Series
The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks. The series has had a longstanding relationship with NASCAR, including using former NASCAR Cup Series cars, hosting events in the same race weekend such as Daytona Speedweeks, and naming an award after NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr. However, the series was not officially affiliated with NASCAR until its buyout on April 27, 2018. The Clean Harbors 150 was a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racing event at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa. The inaugural running of the race was on July 9, 2021, the first NASCAR national touring event to be held at the historic facility. Iowa Speedway
Iowa Speedway is a 7/8-mile (1.4 km) paved oval motor racing track in Newton, Iowa, United States, approximately east of Des Moines. It has over 25,000 permanent seats as well as a unique multi-tiered RV viewing area along the backstretch. The premiere event of the track is the Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend held yearly in July since its inaugural running in 2007. The Music City 200 is a annual ARCA Menards Series East race held at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee. The event has been part of the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East (previously the NASCAR Busch and Camping World East Series) schedules and has come and gone from both throughout its history. It was originally held in 1992 in what was then known as the ARCA SuperCar Series, brought back in 2007 and 2008 as an East Series race, brought back in 2015 as an ARCA Racing (later Menards) Series race, and then moved back to the East Series after NASCAR's acquisition of ARCA. The ARCA Menards Series East (formerly Busch East Series, Busch North Series, Camping World East Series, and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East) is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). Races are held at oval tracks ranging from in length and on two road courses, in length. Tim Goulet (born November 13, 1981) is an American professional stock car racing driver, crew chief, and team owner who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 31 Chevrolet for Rise Motorsports. He has previously worked as a crew member for Mike Harmon Racing, MBM Motorsports, and Jesse Iwuji Motorsports. 2023 General Tire 150 (Charlotte)
The 2023 General Tire 150 was the 5th stock car race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, and the 13th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, May 26, 2023, in Concord, North Carolina at Charlotte Motor Speedway, a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) permanent tri-oval shaped racetrack. The race was increased from 100 to 103 laps, due to a NASCAR overtime finish. Jesse Love, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would hold off the field on the final restart, and earned his 5th career ARCA Menards Series win, and his third consecutive win of the season. Love dominated the majority of the race as well, leading a race-high 67 laps. The 2023 BRANDT 200 was the first stock car race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, and was the 60th running of the event. The race was held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in Daytona Beach, Florida at Daytona International Speedway, a 2.5 mile (4 km) permanent tri-oval shaped asphalt superspeedway. The race was contested over 80 laps. In a chaotic race that brought several cautions, Greg Van Alst, driving for his own team, Greg Van Alst Motorsports, would win the race after making a last lap pass on Jason White for the lead.
