Bravos De León
The Bravos de León (English: León Braves) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. History Cachorros de León (1979–80) Mexican League baseball in León began in 1979 when the Alijadores de Tampico moved to the city and became the Cachorros de León (León Lion Cubs). The first manager of the Cachorros was Benjamin "Papelero" Valenzuela. The roster included Héctor Espino, Celerino Sánchez, Puerto Rican second baseman Luis Alcaraz, Ivan Murrell, Cito Gaston, and Héctor Manuel "Conejo" Díaz, among others. They finished last in North Division with a record of 52–82. The 1980 team was managed by Mario Saldaña. Vic Davalillo
Víctor José Davalillo Romero (born July 30, 1936) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball outfielder. He played for 30 years in the U.S., Mexico, and his homeland, compiling more than 4,100 base hits total. Davalillo (pronounced da-va-LEE-yo) played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians (1963–68), California Angels (1968– 69), St. Louis Cardinals (1969– 70), Pittsburgh Pirates (1971– 73), Oakland Athletics (1973– 74), and Los Angeles Dodgers (1977– 80). Davalillo, who batted and threw left-handed, was a leadoff hitter known for his speedy baserunning and capable defense. Terry Fennell Blocker (born August 18, 1959) is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder who played with the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. The 6'2" outfielder batted and threw left handed. MLB career Blocker was the Mets' first round selection (#4 overall) in the 1981 Major League Baseball Draft out of Tennessee State University. Francisco Estrada
Francisco "Paquín" Estrada Soto (February 12, 1948 – December 9, 2019) was a Mexican Major League Baseball player for the New York Mets. Estrada, a catcher, appeared in one game for the Mets in 1971. Estrada was at the time of his death the manager of the Chihuahua Dorados in the Mexican League (Summer), and catcher's coach with Culiacán Tomateros in the Mexican Pacific League (Winter). Willie Mays Aikens (born October 14, 1954) is an American professional baseball first baseman who played in Major League Baseball for the California Angels, Kansas City Royals, and Toronto Blue Jays between 1977 and 1985. He had established himself as one of the top sluggers in the game before drugs derailed his career. In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home plate safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team.
