Bravo TV (TV Series)
BRAVO TV is a German television program which aired from January 1985 till December 1986 on Sat.1 and from May 1993 till December 2002 on RTL II. In February 2003 the ZDF took over the show, but it was cancelled due to bad ratings in November 2004. The show later had a short-lived revival on ProSieben and was aired again for the first time on November 5, 2005. In May 2007 it was cancelled for good. The television show covered similar topics as the ''BRAVO'' print magazine. It usually included detailed music charts, more-or-less prominent guests, sexual education topics and a music video selected by the viewers at the end of the show. Television in Germany began in Berlin on 22 March 1935, broadcasting for 90 minutes three times a week. It was home to the first public television station in the world, named ''Fernsehsender Paul Nipkow''. In 2000, the German television market had approximately 36.5 million television households, making it the largest television market in Europe. Ben (born Bernhard Albrecht Matthias Lasse Blümel on 15 May 1981 in Berlin) is a German singer, songwriter, and occasional voice actor and TV host. His greatest success was 2002 with the hit single "Engel", a collaboration with singer Gim. He was also successful as TV presenter of the music show '' The Dome'' (RTL II), ''Toggo Music'' (Super RTL) and '' Bravo TV'' ( Pro 7). ProSieben (, ''sieben'' is German for "seven"; often stylized as Pro7) is a German free-to-air television network owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media. It was launched on 1 January 1989. It is Germany's second-largest privately owned television company. Although ProSieben produces some of its programming itself, it also airs many American imports. Gülcan Kamps (née Karahancı, born 20 September 1982) is a German TV presenter and video jockey of Turkish descent. Jasmin Gerat (born 25 December 1978, West Berlin, Germany) is a German actress. Gerat is the daughter of a Turkish father and a German mother. In 1994 she won the '' Bravo''-Girl competition. The next year, she placed second in The Look of the Year competition for models. In the mid-nineties, she began working in German television, hosting ''Heart Attack'', '' Bravo TV'' and ''Chartbreaker''.
