Brantley is a city in Crenshaw County, Alabama, United States. Brantley is also commonly known as a speed trap town by the locals of Alabama. At the 2020 census, the population was 825. Brantley was incorporated in 1891 as a city. Geography Brantley is located in southern Crenshaw County at 31°35'4" North, 86°15'24" West (31.584365, −86.256651). According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which is land and , or 1.60%, is water. The town is located on high ground north of the Conecuh River.
