Branko Lazić
Branko Lazić ( sr-cyr, Бранко Лазић, ; born 12 January 1989) is a Serbian professional basketball player and captain for Crvena zvezda of the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. He has also represented the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. He has won a record six ABA League titles. Professional career FMP Lazić started his professional career in 2007 with a Belgrade-based team FMP. He played four seasons there, until 2011. Crvena zvezda In 2011, Lazić signed a one-year contract with Crvena zvezda. On August 10, 2012, he signed a three-year extension with Crvena zvezda. On June 25, 2015, he signed a new two-year extension with Crvena zvezda. 2020–21 Basketball League Of Serbia
The 2020–21 Basketball League of Serbia ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашка лига Србије 2020–21.) is the 15th season of the Basketball League of Serbia, the top-tier professional basketball league in Serbia. Also, it's the 77th national championship played by Serbian clubs inclusive of the nation's previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. The season is the first to be played after the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia. The Basketball Federation of Serbia ruled that the 13 teams from the previous season will stay in the league and the three highest-placed clubs from Second League will be promoted. The first-placed team from the previous season, Borac, joins the ABA League. Crvena zvezda mts is the defending champion. The First League began on 25 September 2020. FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship
The FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Juniors, is a youth men's basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. It was held biennially through the 2002 edition. From the 2004 edition onward, it has been held every year. EuroBasket 2017
EuroBasket 2017 was the 40th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe and held between 31 August and 17 September 2017. Beginning from 2017, the continental championships take place every four years with a similar system of qualification as for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Like the previous edition, the tournament was co-hosted by four countries. Games in the group stage were held in Turkey, Finland, Israel and Romania. The knock-out phase was played in Istanbul, Turkey. Slovenia won their first-ever tournament after defeating Serbia 93–85 in the final. EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. The ABA League Supercup, also credited as ABA Super Cup, is an annual men's professional basketball supercup competition between teams from the ABA League. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition, that is contested between teams from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. History The ABA League Assembly, held on July 24, 2017, in Belgrade, Serbia, decided to organize the ABA League Supercup, with 8 participants. 2020–21 Radivoj Korać Cup
The 2021 Triglav osiguranje Radivoj Korać Cup was the 19th season of the Serbian men's national basketball cup tournament. The tournament was held in Novi Sad between 11–14 February 2021. All games will be played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia. Partizan NIS was the three-time defending champion.
