Branislav Ratkovica
Branislav Ratkovica ( sr-cyr, Бранислав Ратковица; born 27 July 1985) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He currently serves as a head coach for Metalac of the Basketball League of Serbia. Professional career Ratkovica started playing basketball for KK Drvomarket. He made his professional debut for KK Atlas (then called Beopetrol) during the 2002–03 season. In the following season, Ratkovica made his debut in the ULEB Cup. For the 2004–05 season he was loaned to Avala Ada. In the summer of 2007, Ratkovica signed a one-year contract with German team EWE Baskets Oldenburg. In the summer of 2008, Ratkovica moved to Walter Tigers Tübingen. After four years in Germany, Ratkovica signed a two-year contract with the Turkish club Aliağa Petkim. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. The 2012–13 Turkish Basketball League, which is called Beko Basketball League due to sponsorship reasons, was the 47th season of the top professional basketball league in Turkey. 2003–04 ULEB Cup
The 2003–04 ULEB Cup was the second season of the second-tier level European professional club basketball competition, EuroCup Basketball, organized by the Euroleague Basketball Company. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one tier below the EuroLeague level. Thirty-six teams participated in the competition. FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 European Championship, previously known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under', is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are Spain. Starting with the 2005 B edition, a Division B tournament, which is the secondary level of the European Under-20 Basketball Championship, is also organized. The Basketball Bundesliga 2014–15 was the 49th season of the Basketball Bundesliga. The regular season started on 2 October 2014 and ended on 3 May 2015. The Playoffs started on 9 May and ended on 21 June 2015. Brose Baskets was the top seed in the regular season. The team also won the title, after it beat Bayern Munich 3–2 in the Finals. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season.
