Brandon Kenneth Hughes (born December 1, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022. Career Hughes played college baseball at Michigan State University. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 16th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft as an outfielder An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter.
