Brandon Gatson (born May 29, 1984) is an American professional wrestler. He has worked for several independent promotions throughout the southwest United States and has appeared on several episodes of WWE and NWA television as both enhancement talent and featured talent. Professional wrestling career Early career Brandon Gatson began his career in professional wrestling at the age of 15. He has a background in gymnastics and dancing. His older brother is Olympic gymnast Jason Gatson. He was trained in professional wrestling at the School of Hard Knocks by Jesse Hernandez. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Los Angeles, California. It is owned and operated by wrestlers themselves, having been created by Disco Machine, Excalibur, Scott Lost, Joey Ryan, Super Dragon, and Top Gun Talwar. Since then, Disco, Talwar and Lost have retired and left the company. Since 2007, Excalibur has been the head play-by-play commentator, with a rotation of wrestlers on color commentary. Russell Gene Taylor (born January 26, 1987), is an American professional wrestler. Taylor is currently competing for Ring of Honor under the ring name Taylor Rust. In his previous stint with ROH, Taylor was previously known as Rust Taylor. He is also known for working for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) as Ryan Taylor, Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and WWE as Tyler Rust. The PWG World Championship is a professional wrestling world championship in the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) professional wrestling promotion. It was first introduced in 2003 as the PWG Championship. The inaugural champion was Frankie Kazarian. The current champion is Daniel Garcia, who is in his first reign. History The title became known under its current name in February 2006, when PWG had a two-event European Vacation tour stopping in Essen, Germany and Orpington, England. Battle of Los Angeles (2009) was the fifth Battle of Los Angeles professional wrestling tournament produced by Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). It was a two-night event which took place on November 20 and November 21, 2009 at the American Legion Post No. 308 in Reseda, Los Angeles, California. ECW was a brand of the American professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that was established in May 2006 and discontinued in February 2010. Brands are divisions of WWE's roster where wrestlers are assigned to perform on a weekly basis when a brand extension is in effect. Cryme Tyme was an American professional wrestling tag team consisting of JTG and Shad Gaspard, best known for their tenure in WWE. The team was an over-the-top parody of stereotypical street thugs. The tag team first disbanded in 2010, though reunited in 2014 and continued wrestling until Gaspard's death in May 2020.
