Brandon Cunniff
Brandon Michael Cunniff (born October 7, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Atlanta Braves in 2015. Career Cunniff attended Norco High School and the California State University, San Bernardino. Florida Marlins Cunniff was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 27th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft out of California State University San Bernardino. He pitched in the Marlins organization for one year, making 18 appearances before being released. River City Rascals From 2011 to 2013 he played in the Frontier League, with the River City Rascals. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Mexican League
The Mexican League (, ) is a professional baseball league based in Mexico and the oldest running professional league in the country. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season. Five teams in each division advance to a four-round postseason tournament that culminates in the Serie del Rey, a best-of-seven championship series between the two division champions. The Mexican League has two affiliated minor leagues, the Liga Norte de México and Mexican Academy League. The Bravos de León (English: León Braves) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. History Cachorros de León (1979–80) Mexican League baseball in León began in 1979 when the Alijadores de Tampico moved to the city and became the Cachorros de León (León Lion Cubs). The first manager of the Cachorros was Benjamin "Papelero" Valenzuela. In July 1849, Barlow Granger began the paper in an abandoned log cabin by the junction of the Des Moines and Raccoon River. Colby Hunter Cervenka (born January 3, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Leones de Yucatán of the Mexican League. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins. Career Boston Red Sox Cervenka was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 27th round, 832nd overall, of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft out of Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas. Cervenka made his professional debut with the rookie-level GCL Red Sox in 2009, recording a 2–2 record and 4.84 ERA in 11 appearances. The next year, Cervenka played for the Low-A Lowell Spinners, posting a 2–4 record and 3.59 ERA with 55 strikeouts in 62.2 innings pitched. Scott Reast Copeland (born December 15, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015, and has also played for the New York Mets in MLB and the LG Twins of the KBO League. The Iowa Cubs are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The New Orleans Baby Cakes (formerly the New Orleans Zephyrs) were a Minor League Baseball team in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
