Brandon Cantu
Brandon M. Cantu (born May 10, 1981 in Vancouver, Washington) is an American professional poker player. Upon winning a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2006, Cantu relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. On March 14, 2007, Cantu became one of only 27 players to ever win both a World Series of Poker bracelet (2006) and a World Poker Tour championship (2008). World Series of Poker At the $1,500 No-Limit hold’em event in June 2006, Cantu won his first WSOP bracelet in a $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event, winning $757,839. 2008 World Series Of Poker
The 2008 World Series of Poker was the 39th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). Held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, the series began on May 30th, 2008, and featured 55 poker championships in several variants. All events but the $10,000 World Championship No Limit Texas hold 'em Main Event, the most prestigious of the WSOP events, ended by July 15th. As has been the WSOP custom since 1976, each of the event winners received a championship bracelet in addition to that event's prize money, which (after the casino's rake) ranged from $87,929 to $9,119,517. John Juanda
Johnson "John" Juanda (born July 8, 1971) is an Indonesian professional poker player of Chinese descent based in Tokyo, Japan. He has won five World Series of Poker bracelets. Personal life Juanda was born into a Hoklo family in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia on July 8, 1971. He was a high school track star for the 200 meter sprints to 5000 meters races. Juanda arrived in the United States in 1990 to enroll at Oklahoma State University. He earned an MBA from Seattle University. Juanda is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Jennifer Harman
Jennifer C. Harman (born November 29, 1964) is an American professional poker player. She has won two World Series of Poker bracelets in open events, one of only four women to have done so. Career Harman won her first World Series of Poker bracelet in 2000 at the No Limit Deuce to Seven Lowball Event (at a final table that also included fellow professionals Lyle Berman and Steve Zolotow). She had never played that game prior to the event, but received a five-minute tutoring session from Howard Lederer before playing. William Edler (born February 11, 1964) is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada. He has a J.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Edler won a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2007 by claiming the $5,000 buy-in shorthanded No-Limit hold'em tournament. The win earned Edler over $900,000.
