Brandon Barnes (baseball)
Brandon Michael Barnes (born May 15, 1986) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies and Cleveland Indians and in the KBO League for the Hanwha Eagles. Amateur career Born in Orange, California, Barnes attended Katella High School in Anaheim, California, where he was a standout in baseball and American football, football. Houston Astros
The Houston Astros are an American professional baseball team based in Houston, Texas. Jordan Horton Lyles (born October 19, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals. He previously played for the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres, Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers, and Baltimore Orioles. Gerald Lee Laird III (born November 13, 1979) is an American former professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Trevor William Hoffman (born October 13, 1967) is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher who played 18 years in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1993 to 2010. A long-time closer, he pitched for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, and Milwaukee Brewers, including more than 15 years for the Padres. Hoffman was the major leagues' first player to reach the 500- and 600- save milestones, and was the all-time saves leader from 2006 until 2011. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018. Cypress is a city in northwestern Orange County within Southern California. Its population was 50,151 at the 2020 census. History The first people living in the area now known as Cypress were the Gabrieleno, a Native American tribe of the Tongva people, who were displaced soon after the arrival of the Europeans. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme.
