Brainiac Five
Brainiac 5 (Querl Dox) is a fictional superhero character who exists in the 30th and 31st centuries of the DC Universe. He is from the planet Colu and is a long-standing member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The first live-action version of the character appeared as a regular character in the fifth season and a recurring character in the seventh season of '' Smallville'', played by James Marsters. Brainiac 5 was introduced in the third season of the Arrowverse series '' Supergirl'', portrayed by Jesse Rath. He became part of the main cast starting in the fourth season. A female version of Brainiac 5 from an alternate universe appeared in the fifth season of '' Supergirl'', portrayed by Rath's sister Meaghan Rath. George Pérez
George Pérez (; June 9, 1954 – May 6, 2022) was an American comic book artist and writer, who worked primarily as a penciller. He came to prominence in the 1970s penciling ''Fantastic Four (comic book), Fantastic Four'' and ''The Avengers (comic book), The Avengers'' for Marvel Comics. In the 1980s he penciled ''New Teen Titans, The New Teen Titans'', which became one of DC Comics' top-selling series. He penciled DC's landmark limited series ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'', followed by relaunching ''Wonder Woman (comic book), Wonder Woman'' as both writer and penciller for the rebooted series. In the meantime, he worked on other comics published by Marvel, DC, and other companies into the 2010s. He was known for his detailed and realistic rendering, and his facility with complex crowd scenes. Smallville (TV Series)
''Smallville'' is an American superhero television series developed by writer-producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, based on the DC Comics character Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The series was produced by Millar/Gough Ink, Tollin/Robbins Productions, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Television. Initially broadcast by the WB, the show premiered on October 16, 2001. After its fifth season, the WB and UPN merged to form The CW, the series' later United States broadcaster until its tenth and final season ended on May 13, 2011. Computo (comics)
Computo is a supervillain in the DC Comics universe and a foe of the Legion of Super-Heroes. It first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #340 (January 1966), in a story written by Jerry Siegel and illustrated by Curt Swan. Fictional character biography Pre-Crisis Computo was created by Brainiac 5 to be a mechanical assistant, but instead became homicidal, and attempted an uprising of machines. It creates an army of replicas and begins terrorizing the city. Calculating that a confrontation with the Legion is imminent, it redesigns itself into its ultimate form, Computo the Conqueror, and send a distress signal which will recall all Legionnaires back to Earth. When the Legion returns unaware, Computo uses its database to create a weapon which neutralizes Legion members' powers and use it against them, and turns the Clubhouse into a walking automaton. Phantom Zone
The Phantom Zone is a prison-like parallel dimension appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It is mainly associated with stories featuring Superman. It first appeared in '' Adventure Comics'' #283 (April 1961), and was created by Robert Bernstein and George Papp. It was frequently used in the ''Superman'' comics before the continuity was rebooted in the 1980s, after ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'', and has appeared occasionally since. Mon-El
Lar Gand, known mainly as Mon-El (and alternatively as Valor and M'Onel), is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the Legion of Super-Heroes, Superboy, and Superman. The character has been reinterpreted over the years, but in all versions, he serves as a hero with abilities similar to those of Superman, sometimes serving as a substitute for him. The character made his live-action debut in season 2 of the Arrowverse TV series ''Supergirl'', played by Chris Wood as a regular character for several seasons.
