Brainchild (Circle Of Dust Album)
''Brainchild'' is the second studio album by the industrial metal band Circle of Dust, released in 1994 through R.E.X. Music and re-released as a remaster in 2016 through FiXT Music. Overview Brainchild was originally a side project between Klayton and Doug Mann. Their album, ''Mindwarp'', was released on R.E.X. Music in 1992. R.E.X. wanted Klayton to make a second Circle of Dust album, but there wasn't enough money to make another album, so R.E.X. re-released the album as the second Circle of Dust album, ''Brainchild''. The same cover artwork and layout was used for both albums, with only the Album Artist ("Brainchild" to "Circle of Dust") and Album Title (''Mindwarp'' to ''Brainchild'') changed. Three of tracks are different from the original ''Mindwarp'' versions. The original recording of "Deviate" was replaced with the 'Sawed-Off Shotgun Edit' version from Metamorphosis. Circle Of Dust
Circle of Dust is an industrial music project from New York City created by Klayton, who later became known as Celldweller. The project was active from 1988 to 1998 and then re-started in 2015 after Klayton gained back ownership of his old albums. The project has released five studio albums: ''Circle of Dust'' (1992), ''Brainchild'' (1994), a re-recording of ''Circle of Dust'' (1995), '' Disengage'' (1998), and '' Machines of Our Disgrace'' (2016). Roland Stephen Taylor (born December 9, 1957) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, music executive, film maker, assistant professor, and actor. A figure in what has come to be known as Christian alternative rock, Taylor enjoyed a successful solo career during the 1980s, and also served in the short-lived group Chagall Guevara. In contrast to many Christian musical artists, his songs have often taken aim at other Christians with the use of satirical, sardonic lyrics. Blue Stahli is an American electronic rock project by Bret Autrey. Blue Stahli has appeared in a number of movie trailers, shows and games. History Musical beginnings and VOXiS (1997–2006) Autrey started music at a young age, learning through the use of an old beat up piano he had rescued from a dump. He worked through 3 years of piano lessons, by mimicking his neighbor and playing the melodies by ear.
