Brady North (born April 24, 1991) is an American professional baseball hitting coach for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. North attended Cumberland University, where he played college baseball for the Cumberland Phoenix Cumberland University is a private university in Lebanon, Tennessee. It was founded in 1842. In baseball, a number of coaches assist in the smooth functioning of a team. They are assistants to the manager, who determines the starting lineup and batting order, decides how to substitute players during the game, and makes strategy decisions. The Tampa Bay Rays are an American professional baseball team based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
