Bradley Woods-Garness
Bradley Maurice Charles Woods-Garness (born 27 June 1986) is an English-born Montserratian footballer who plays as a striker or winger for Tower Hamlets. He has been capped internationally for Montserrat. Career Club career As a youth he started out at Chelsea and then Wycombe Wanderers before joining Barnet, playing twice for the first team in the Football League Trophy and Conference League Cup, before establishing himself as a goal scorer, initially at Welwyn Garden City where he was top scorer in the 2005–2006 season, and then at Farnborough, Billericay Town, Sutton United and Canvey Island. After leaving Lowestoft Town at the end of the 2015–16 season, Woods-Garness started the 2016–17 season at Bishop's Stortford, followed by a number of brief spells at Cray Wanderers, Cambridge City, Chalfont St Peter, and Ware. The Conference League Cup (formerly known as the Setanta Shield for sponsorship reasons, and before that the Bob Lord Trophy) was a football competition open to clubs playing in the Football Conference. History The competition was formed for the inaugural season of what was then called the Alliance Premier League, in 1979–80 and existed for twenty-two seasons before being axed at the end of the 2000–01 season. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. Montserrat National Football Team
The Montserrat national football team represents the small Caribbean island of Montserrat in the CONCACAF football region. Football is the second most popular sport in Montserrat, after cricket. The team plays at the Blakes Estate Stadium, near the village of Look Out. The Montserrat football team was formed in 1973, and has entered the World Cup qualifiers since the 2002 edition, being eliminated in the first round on each occasion. Due to the heavy volcanic activity on the island since 1995, the team has only played a handful of matches, and most of those have been away from home. Their only victories were against neighboring Anguilla in the qualifying tournament of the 1995 Caribbean Cup, winning 3–2 at home and 1–0 away. Cheshunt ( ) is a town in Hertfordshire, England, north of London on the River Lea and Lee Navigation. It contains a section of the Lee Valley Park, including much of the River Lee Country Park.
