Andrew "Andy" Bradfield (1966 – 21 September 2001) was a video game programmer from New Zealand best known for his work on games for the Atari 8-bit computers. He created ''Laser Hawk'' (1986) and its sequel ''Hawkquest'' (1989). He teamed with artist Harvey Kong Tin on both titles. Roger Martin Bradfield (September 22, 1924 – December 31, 2021) was an American children's books writer, illustrator, cartoonist, painter, and world traveller. Early life Bradfield was born in 1924 in White Bear, Minnesota, and was raised by his mother and grandmother. Art Roger Bradfield won several art contests as a child and had early encouragement from his high school art teacher to pursue a career in the arts. His preferred medium is watercolor, although he has also proven himself to be proficient in pencil, pen and ink, and acrylic. Polly Bradfield is an American violinist from the New York City free improvisation scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Her closest musical associates were Eugene Chadbourne and John Zorn. She also played on records by William Parker and Frank Lowe. Her music career ended when she moved to California sometime in the 1980s. John Ross Bradfield
John Ross Bradfield, (1899 – October 29, 1983) was a Canadians, Canadian businessman who was involved in the development of the Canadian mining industry as President and CEO of Noranda (mining company), Noranda. Born in Morrisburg, Ontario, he graduated from McGill University in 1922 with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. He was a field engineer on the construction of Yankee Stadium. He joined Noranda Mines in 1922. In 1927 he became a construction superintendent. Rising in the ranks of the company he became, in 1956, president and chief executive officer and chairman of the board and chief executive officer in 1962. He resigned as CEO in 1968 but remained as Chairman of the board until 1974. In 1973 he was made a Companion of the Order of Canada "for his many contributions to the development of the mining industry and to the growth of the Canadian business community". Sir John Richard Grenfell Bradfield, (20 May 1925 – 13 October 2014) was a British biologist and entrepreneur, most famous for his role as the founder of Cambridge Science Park, the first Science Park in Europe. Education Sir John was a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge from 1947 until his death in 2014. He was a former pupil of the Cambridge and County High School for Boys — now Hills Road Sixth Form College — where he won a scholarship to study natural sciences. Cambridge Science Park and Career In 1975, Trinity College, under Bradfield's guidance as Senior Bursar, founded England's first science park on the outskirts of Cambridge. Dr Bradfield spearheaded the creation of Cambridge's research and business campus in the early 1970s, and was its director for many years. John Bradfield (engineer)
John Job Crew Bradfield (26 December 1867 – 23 September 1943) was an Australian engineer best known as the chief proponent of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, of which he oversaw both the design and construction. He worked for the New South Wales Department of Public Works from 1891 to 1933. He was the first recipient of an engineering doctorate from the University of Sydney, in 1924. Other notable projects with which he was associated include the Cataract Dam (completed 1907), the Burrinjuck Dam (completed 1928), and Brisbane's Story Bridge (completed 1940).
