Brad Battin
Bradley William Battin (born 12 December 1975) is an Australian politician who currently serves as the Liberal Party member for Berwick in the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2022. He was previously the member for Gembrook from 2010 until the seat was abolished in 2022 following the 2021 Redistribution. He was formerly a police officer and owned a bakery in Wheelers Hill. Career Battin obtained a Diploma in Public Safety (Policing) with the Victoria Police, and a Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Health and Welfare from the University of Melbourne. In 2020 Battin completed a Graduate Certificate in Business. He has spoken on the issue of youth suicide on various occasions and targets raising further awareness about this. Battin was promoted to Shadow Cabinet in 2014 as the Shadow Minister for Emergency Services and Environment. Victorian Legislative Assembly
The Victorian Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Victoria in Australia; the upper house being the Victorian Legislative Council. Both houses sit at Parliament House in Spring Street, Melbourne. The presiding officer of the Legislative Assembly is the Speaker. There are presently 88 members of the Legislative Assembly elected from single-member divisions. Matthew Jason Guy (born 6 March 1974) is an Australian politician. He has been a Liberal Party of Australia Member of the Parliament of Victoria since 2006, representing Northern Metropolitan Region in the Legislative Council (2006–2014) and Bulleen in the Legislative Assembly (2014–present). He was Leader of the Opposition in Victoria and state leader of the Liberal Party from 2014 to 2018, when he resigned the leadership after the Liberal Party's landslide defeat in the 2018 Victorian election. Electoral District Of Hawthorn
The electoral district of Hawthorn is an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly. It was first proclaimed in 1888 taking effect at the 1889 elections. The seat is located in eastern Melbourne and is centred on the suburbs of Hawthorn and Hawthorn East. It also includes Camberwell and parts of Canterbury, Glen Iris, and Surrey Hills. It has usually been a safe seat for the Liberal Party and its predecessors, having been held by a number of leaders and senior ministers. John Pesutto (born 5 September 1970) is an Australian politician and lawyer serving as the leader of the Opposition in Victoria, holding office as the leader of the Victorian Branch of the Liberal Party of Australia. Richard Vincent Riordan (born 11 April 1972) is an Australian politician and businessman. He was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as a Liberal Party member for Polwarth at a by-election held on 31 October 2015. This was the first Liberal Party by-election win in Victoria in thirty-five years. Riordan is from a prominent family in Polwarth.
