"Boyz N the Highlands" is the 13th episode of the 33rd season of the American animated television series '' The Simpsons'', and the 719th episode overall. It aired in the United States on Fox on March 6, 2022. The episode was directed by Bob Anderson and written by Dan Vebber. The plot is inspired by the 2019 movie '' Get Duked!''. Plot Bart, Nelson, and Dolph are abandoned to do a court-ordered wilderness trek. Martin is dropped off by his parents and joins them because he wants to do it as an extracurricular activity. Along the way, the boys bully Martin. They encounter a baby goat in a cage and take it with them. Later, some people wearing goat skull masks demand that the boys give them the goat. Bob Anderson is an American animation director on ''The Simpsons''. He also contributed additional sequence direction on ''The Simpsons Movie''. After high school, Bob Anderson enrolled at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art to pursue an education in animation. Before Bob graduated from The Joe Kubert School, he began his professional career. Hired by Broadcast Arts in New York City, he started work on a variety of commercials. In 1990, Anderson moved to Los Angeles to work as an assistant director for ''The Simpsons''.
