Cheewin "Boyd" Kosiyabong ( th, ชีวิน (บอย) โกสิยพงษ์) is a Thai singer-songwriter and music producer of the R&B genre whose inspirational songs and romantic ballads include multiple chart-toppers. Biography Boyd Kosiyabong was born on 5 September 1967, the third of five children. Having great interest in animated cartoons and music, he started taking piano lessons by the age of four but soon had to give up formal lessons which could not satisfy his specific interest in cartoon soundtracks. He became self-taught afterwards, learning to play the theme songs of his favourite cartoons and beginning to compose by the time he was in sixth grade. He had wished to study animation, but being unable to do so he followed the path of his other interest, music. ''Nak'' ( th, นาค) is a Thai computer-animated dark fantasy horror film that was released on April 3, 2008 and aired on TV in Thai PBS Kids. The story is based on ghosts of the folklore of Thailand, who in this movie shed their sinister reputation and are the heroes. Nak, its central character, is based on the figure of Mae Nak, a Thai female spirit that has a baby and can stretch her arms. Nak's striking fuchsia-colored hair and eyes in this movie are a departure from her alleged looks in traditional lore though. Other spirits familiar to Thai people that appear in this movie are Phi Hua Kat, Krahang, Krasue, Phi Am, Nang Tani, Nang Takian and Phi Phong. Modern Dog ( th, โมเดิร์นด็อก) is a Thai rock band, formed in 1992. They issued their first album in 1994, selling 500,000 copies. The band has issued five studio albums, selling a total of 2 million copies. The band's 2004 album, ''That Song'', was produced by Tony Doogan (Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai), with the title track arranged by bassist Yuka Honda of Cibo Matto. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. The genre features a distinctive record production style, drum machine-backed rhythms, pitch corrected vocals, and a smooth, lush style of vocal arrangement.
