Bow Wow (band)
Bow Wow are a Japanese rock band formed in 1975. Originally consisting of guitarist and vocalists Kyoji Yamamoto and Mitsuhiro Saito, bassist Kenji Sano and drummer Toshihiro Niimi, they were one of the first Japanese metal bands. After releasing nine studio albums, Saito left in 1983. The band then adopted a mainstream sound by recruiting lead vocalist Genki Hitomi and keyboardist Rei Atsumi and renamed themselves to Vow Wow. They relocated to England in 1986, before Sano left the band the following year and Yamamoto invited former Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray to replace him. After Murray left to join Black Sabbath, studio bassist Mark Gould played on Vow Wow's last album before they disbanded in 1990. Yamamoto reformed Bow Wow in 1995 with all new members, before it became a trio when fellow original members Saito and Niimi rejoined in 1998. Shad Gregory Moss (born March 9, 1987), better known by his stage name Bow Wow (formerly Lil' Bow Wow), is an American rapper and actor. His career began upon being discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg in the late 1990s, eventually being brought to record producer Jermaine Dupri and signed to So So Def Recordings. As Lil' Bow Wow, he released his first album at age 13, '' Beware of Dog'', in 2000, which was followed by ''Doggy Bag'' a year later. In 2003, Bow Wow released his third album ''Unleashed'', which was the first album released after dropping the "Lil'" from his stage name, and the first not to be released by So So Def. His next album, '' Wanted'' (2005), spawned his two highest-charting singles, "Let Me Hold You" (featuring Omarion) and " Like You" (featuring Ciara). ''Gallowsbird's Bark'' is the debut studio album by The Fiery Furnaces released by Rough Trade Records in 2003. Additional information "Inca Rag"/"Name Game" is actually two songs that blend into each other, this being an indication of the direction the band would take on the following album ''Blueberry Boat''. "Tropical Ice-Land", "Rub-Alcohol Blues" and "We Got Back the Plague" share the same tempo, are grouped together on the album cover track listing and could for this reason be construed as a three-part song. "Rub Alcohol Blues", credited to William E. Myer is most known for being performed by (and written for) the folk banjo player Dock Boggs. "Crystal Clear", "Tropical Ice-Land" and "We Got Back the Plague" have all appeared on singles, "Tropical Ice-Land" also appearing on the 2005 compilation '' EP''. Cliff Friend (October 1, 1893 – June 27, 1974) was an accomplished songwriter and pianist. A member of Tin Pan Alley, Friend co-wrote several hits including "Lovesick Blues", "My Blackbirds Are Bluebirds Now" and "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down", also known as the theme song to the '' Looney Tunes'' cartoon series. Early life Friend was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1893. His father was first violinist with the Woods Theater Orchestra. Friend studied at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music with the aim of becoming a concert pianist, until a three-year bout of tuberculosis. Friend met Harry Richman while working on vaudeville shows, and the two moved to Los Angeles, California where they befriended Buddy De Sylva and Al Jolson. Synopsis The series follows Bow, a bull terrier that, starting out as a stray dog, lounges in with a struggling manga artist for a while before being adopted by Sayaka, a third grader and the daughter of a yakuza family. Wow-Wow Sauce (sometimes referred to as Bow wow sauce) is a sauce for which the first known recipe was published by William Kitchiner of London in 1817. It contains port, wine vinegar, parsley, pickled cucumbers or pickled walnuts, English mustard and mushroom ketchup in a base of beef stock, flour and butter. A recipe appears in '' Enquire Within Upon Everything'' (88th edition, 1894).
