Boutros Gemayel
Boutros Gemayel (29 June 1932 – 21 August 2021) was an emeritus Maronite Archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Cyprus. Life Boutros Gemayel received on 12 April 1959 the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood. On 11 June 1988 he was appointed by Pope John Paul II as Archbishop of Archeparchy of Cyprus with headquarters in Nicosia. On 11 September 1988 his episcopal ordination was performed by Maronite Patriarch of Antioch, Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir; his co-consecrators were his predecessor Archeparch Elie Farah and Joseph Mohsen Béchara, Archbishop of Antelias of the Maronites in Lebanon. Maronite Catholic Archeparchy Of Cyprus
Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Cyprus (Latin: ''Archeparchy Cyprensis Maronitarum'') is a seat of the Maronite Church immediately subject to the Holy See. It is currently ruled by Archeparch Joseph Soueif. Territory and statistics The archeparchy extends its jurisdiction over all the faithful Maronites of the island of Cyprus. Its arcieparchial seat is the city of Nicosia, where is located the Our Lady of Grace Cathedral (Nicosia). Pope John Paul II

This is a list of the Maronite patriarchs of Antioch and all the East, the primate of the Maronite Church, one of the Eastern Catholic Churches. Starting with Paul Peter Massad in 1854, after becoming patriarch of the Maronite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch, they assume the name "Peter" (Boutros in Arabic, بطرس ), after the traditional first Bishop of Antioch, St. Peter, who was also the head of the Apostles. Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir ('; ar, الكاردينال مار نصر الله بطرس صفير; la, Victor Petrus Sfeir; 15 May 1920 – 12 May 2019) was the patriarch of Lebanon's largest Christian body, the Maronite Church, an Eastern Catholic Church in communion with the Holy See. Elie Farah (27 December 1909 in Kafar Berhem, Lebanon – 22 July 2003) was Archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Cyprus from 1954 to 1986. Life Elie Farah received on April 9, 1935 the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood. On 16 April 1954 he was appointed by Pope Pius XII Archbishop of the Maronite Archeparchy of Cyprus with headquarters in Nicosia.
