Bounce Back (album)
''Bounce Back'' is the third and final album from American freestyle and dance-pop singer Alisha. It was her first album released by MCA Records after leaving RCA Records. Background After failing to garner mainstream success with her second album ''Nightwalkin''', Alisha parted with RCA Records and signed a new deal with MCA Records for her third album. MCA's president at the time Al Teller had contacted producer Michael Jay to ask if he would produce Alisha's album. Jay went on to produce ''Bounce Back'', and it was released in May 1990. The album became her only appearance on the Billboard Top 200 chart, where it peaked at No. 166 in July 1990. The album lasted on the chart for a total of four weeks. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. Jeffrey "Jeff" Pescetto (born November 21, 1954) is an American musical artist who is most notable for collaborating with David Foster on the 1990 recreation of John Farnham's Australian single, "You're the Voice". Seth Swirsky (born August 5, 1960) is an American pop music songwriter (including the Grammy-nominated " Tell It to My Heart"), an author, a recording artist, a filmmaker, a political writer and a noted baseball memorabilia collector.
