''Bottom Line'' is an album by the English musician John Mayall, released in 1979. It was produced by Bob Johnston. It is the only Mayall album that has never been released on CD. Critical reception ''The Tampa Tribune'' wrote that "it's mostly middle-of-the-road soul vocals with a jazzy background, and Mayall just can't carry it." John Mayall
John Mayall, OBE (born 29 November 1933) is an English blues singer, musician and songwriter, whose musical career spans over sixty years. In the 1960s, he was the founder of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, a band that has counted among its members some of the most famous blues and blues rock musicians. Personal life Born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, in 1933, Mayall grew up in Cheadle Hulme. He was the son of Murray Mayall, a guitarist and jazz enthusiast. From an early age he was drawn to the sounds of American blues players such as Lead Belly, Albert Ammons, Pinetop Smith and Eddie Lang, and taught himself to play the piano, guitars, and harmonica. Mayall was sent to Korea as part of his national service, and during a period of leave bought his first electric guitar in Japan. Lee Elwood Holdridge (born March 3, 1944) is a Haitian-born American composer, conductor, and orchestrator. A 18-time Emmy Award nominee, he has won two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Daytime Emmy Awards, two News & Documentary Emmy Awards, and one Sports Emmy Award. He has also been nominated for two Grammy Awards.
