Boston Renegades (WFA)
The Boston Renegades are a tackle football team in the Women's Football Alliance. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, the Renegades play their home games at Harry Della Russo Stadium in Revere, Massachusetts. Formation On January 5, 2015, three-time national women's tackle football champions the Boston Militia announced they were discontinuing operations. To ensure that women's football would continue in Boston, three former players secured a transfer of ownership of the team from Militia president Ernie Boch, Jr. Molly Goodwin, Mia Brickhouse, and Erin Baumgartner incorporated as Boston Women's Football, LLC, and reorganized the team under the name Boston Renegades. Women's Football Alliance
The Women's Football Alliance (WFA) is a professional full-contact Women's American football tackle minor league that began play in 2009. It is the largest 11-on-11 football league for women in the world, and the longest running active women's football league in the U.S. Since 2016, the league has operated with three competitive levels: Pro, Division 2 and Division 3. The league is owned and operated by Jeff King and Lisa Gibbons King of Exeter, California. Lisa King is also a wide receiver for the WFA's, Los Angeles Warriors. In addition to operating annual national championship seasons in the United States, the league also operates the WFA International Program which organizes international competitions for its own Team United and Team World against each other and all-star teams from other nations. Patrick Pass
Patrick Pass (born December 31, 1977) is an American football coach and former fullback, who is currently the director of football personnel development for the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia. He has also been a member of the New York Giants and the Houston Texans. Early years Pass attended Tucker High School in Tucker, Georgia, and lettered in football and baseball. In football, he was a three-year starter at running back, and as a senior, he was also named as an All-USA selection by ''USA Today''. United States Women's National American Football Team
The United States women's national American football team represents the United States in international women's American football competitions. It is currently ranked no.1 in the IFAF. It is controlled by USA Football and is recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). Catholic Memorial (CM) is an all-boys college preparatory school (grades 7–12) located in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, United States. The Richmond Black Widows are a women's American football team playing out of Richmond, Virginia. They are a member of the Women's Football Alliance (WFA). They are the first women's football team in Richmond, and currently the only team in Virginia. They played their inaugural season in April 2016. Vernon Crawford
Vernon Dean Crawford, Jr. (born June 25, 1974) is a former American football linebacker. He played three seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the New England Patriots, who drafted him out of Florida State in 1997. Crawford attended the City College of San Francisco and then was a two-year starter at Florida State. A fifth-round draft selection in 1997, he was employed by the Patriots primarily as a special teams performer and had his most productive season in 1998 when he posted 13 tackles as a linebacker and 14 stops on special teams. He left the Patriots and was signed by the Green Bay Packers in July 2000, but spent all of the season on the injured reserve list. After a few seasons in minor football leagues, Crawford retired as a player and turned to coaching, first at Randolph High School, then at Curry College.
