Bosniaks in Sweden ( sv, Bosniaker i Sverige) ancestry can be traced to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sanjak region. The vast majority of Bosniaks immigrated to Sweden during and after the Bosnian War which lasted from 1992–1995. The largest Bosniak population can be found in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and other bigger cities in Sweden. Bahrudin Atajić (born 16 November 1993) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Swedish side BK Olympic. He was born and grew up in Sweden and holds dual citizenship.
