Bosnia And Herzegovina Chess Championship
The Bosnia and Herzegovina Chess Championship is the national chess championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was first organised in 2005 by the BIH Chess Union; more than ten years after its independence from Yugoslavia. In the first edition there were six players from Bosnia and Herzegovina and six players from Serbia and Montenegro. The first edition was marked by the absence of leading players such as Borki Predojević, Bojan Kurajica and Emir Dizdarević. The second edition was played with 10 players from Bosnia and Herzegovina and two players from Serbia and Montenegro. The field in the third edition consisted entirely of Bosnia and Herzegovina chess players. Cazin
Cazin ( sr-cyrl, Цазин) is a city located in Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated in northwest Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Bosanska Krajina region, near the border with Croatia. As of 2013, it has a population of 66,149 inhabitants. The Yugoslav Chess Championship was an annual chess tournament held to determine the Yugoslav national champion and Yugoslavia's candidates for the World Chess Championship. Ilidža
Ilidža ( sr-cyrl, Илиџа, ) is a town and a municipality located in Sarajevo Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has a total population of 66,730 with 63,528 in Ilidža itself, and is a chief suburb of Sarajevo and ''de facto'' its neighborhood. Zenica
Zenica ( ; ; ) is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and an administrative and economic center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Zenica-Doboj Canton.
