Francesca Vanini-Boschi (died 1744) was an Italian contralto singer of the 18th century. She is best remembered for her association with the composer George Frideric Handel, for whom she sang both in Italy and in London. Vanini was born in Bologna. As well as singing for Handel, she also sang in operas by Alessandro Scarlatti and Giovanni Bononcini. She frequently sang alongside her husband, the bass Giuseppe Maria Boschi. Giulio Boschi (2 March 1838 – 15 May 1920) was an Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church who served as Archbishop of Ferrara from 1900 to 1919, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1901. Biography Giulio Boschi was born in Perugia, as the youngest of the eleven children of Francesco and Giusseppa (née Mancini) Boschi. Hélène Boschi ( ; 11 August 19179 July 1990) was a Franco-Swiss pianist, born in Lausanne. She studied with Yvonne Lefébure and Alfred Cortot at the Ecole normale de musique in Paris. Throughout her life she led a dual career as a teacher and as a performer. She played the music of the 20th Century, Bartok, Dukas, Maurice Emmanuel, Janáček or Martinu. Maria Elena Boschi, (; born 24 January 1981) is an Italian lawyer and politician, member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2013. As a member of the Democratic Party, Boschi has served as Minister for Constitutional Reforms and Relations with the Parliament, from February 2014 to December 2016, delegated to the implementation of the Government Programme of Renzi Cabinet. The snowflake moray (''Echidna nebulosa''), also known as the clouded moray among many vernacular names, is a species of marine eel of the family Muraenidae. It has blunt teeth ideal for its diet of crustaceans, a trait it shares with the zebra moray (''Gymnomuraena zebra''). Its Hawaiian name is puhi-kapa, which originates from King Kamehameha I’s nickname.
